Sadie Hestekin

A stay at home mama of two, Sadie Hestekin began writing her first book, Open Up and Let the Train Run Through You, during naps and impossibly long breastfeeding sessions. Insatiably curious, she hadn’t found the details she wanted to read about birth so she wrote them herself. When not writing, you can find her exploring with her family on the shores of Lake Superior: hiking, swimming, and sailing. If not there, she’s in the kitchen baking a cake.
